Policies

  • If a deposit has not been received within 10 days after receiving confirmation, South Lyon Tent Rental reserves the right to cancel the booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Any cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to your event, otherwise the total amount of your invoice is due.
  • Tent side walls CAN NOT be canceled once they have been ordered unless it is done so at least 30 days prior to your event.
  • All balances are due prior to set up of equipment.
  • Sprinklers should be shutoff at least one day prior to delivery to let the ground dry out.  We ask that you leaved them turned off until after the equipment has been picked up. Hard water and water containing iron can damage equipment.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
  • The area where the tent will be setup should be clear of any debris including dog waste prior to the arrival of set up crew members.
  • The area where the tent is going to be setup should be marked with stakes or an object such as a chair prior to the arrival of set up crew members.  Failure to do so may incur an additional $25.00 charge.
  • It is not mandatory, but highly recommended that you call MISS DIG to come out and mark your utilities the week before your event.
  • Equipment is delivered the morning of your event or up to 2 days prior to your event.
  • A text message will be sent the Tuesday before your event to schedule delivery.
  • All equipment is only delivered to a garage, yard, or first floor of a house or building.
  • Delivery crew members will setup the tent and the tables.  The chairs are neatly stacked on top of the tables. Customer must stack the chairs neatly on top of the tables prior to pickup. Failure to do so may incur an additional charge of up to $50.00.
  • Tables and chairs should be neatly stacked for pick up in the same location that they were dropped off unless other arrangements have been made with our management.
  • All equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was received, otherwise, the customer will be charged for the replacement or repair of the equipment.
  • All of the customer’s personal property must be removed from the tent prior to pick up.  All tables must be cleared off.  Failure to do so will result in an additional $50.00 charge.
  • Customer understands that tents are temporary structures designed to provide shade and protection from light rain.  Evacuation of the tent is highly recommended during poor weather conditions such as high winds and heavy rain to prevent injury to any person.
  • Customer assumes all responsibility for injuries or damages to property and agrees to release and hold South Lyon Tent Rental harmless for any and all claims arising out of the use of rental equipment while in customer’s possession.
